Visión y Tradición

The three-dimensional patterns of the rugs arise from the shared knowledge of the two creators, Josefina Ruiz, who departs from her Zapotec culture heritage, and Pedro Cerisola who contributed with the three-dimensionality vision and mathematical models.

The design of the rugs was made by applying, to the technology of the looms, a projection of three-dimensional linear views of different Platonic solids, the patterns that were generated were repeated to obtain the three-dimensionality design of the mats.
